CAR WASH IN DUBLIN
The story of Rabbit Car Wash is the result of the two different person stories of Tadeusz and Robert. “Our business developed through a series of personal decisions and a long friendship”.
The young professional Tadeusz came to Ireland 5 years ago to work in banking; being an economist guaranteed a desk job that many would even call boring, but he prefers to call it repetitive and reclusive. Coming from a family that had moved to Ireland more than 12 years ago, Tadeusz once came to Ireland for holidays and quickly released why his family loved it here. He was immediately fascinated by the people, the vibrant culture and the amazing nature. So, it is almost ironic that when he decided to stay in Ireland and work in his professional field, he would be missing out on the things he like the most due to having an isolating and repetitive job.
Tadeusz has always been passionate about cars and motors but had never pursued that passion. He also wanted to start a new business but hadn't yet come up with any idea that would guarantee that he wasn’t going to spend the rest of his life behind a desk. However, after seeing the success of his brother-in-law, Robert, he mustered the courage to leave his comfort zone, follow his passion and work on something with a positive impact on his community. After coming up with the idea for a Car Wash, who else would be the perfect partner but the person who inspired him and knew the business very well: Robert.
Robert's story is different but with the same happy ending. He has been living in Ireland for more than 12 years after coming for a short visit and falling in love with the country. During this time, Robert ran a series of successful businesses and several under the 'Rabbit', like Rabbit Storage. Being a restaurateur and mechanic of profession, Robert sees everything related to cars as a passion and not as work, so when he decided to retire and spend more time with his family, the opportunity of establishing a less demanding business but with all the satisfaction arose from Tadeusz’ idea of establishing a car wash. Robert invested the money, and now they both run a very successful business and offer an outstanding-quality service in Dublin.
